Local producers can apply for cooperative agreements

TULELAKE, Cal. – Klamath Basin Wildlife Refuges want to enter cooperative farming agreements with local producers. Contracts will be for the 2012 growing season for barley and wheat at Lower Klamath, and small grain and row crop production at Tule Lake. Contracts include restrictions on pesticide use since organic methods are preferred.

Applications are due there by April 6.
