Jury deciding whether design flaw led to helicopter crash

PORTLAND, Ore. – Roark Schwanenberg was a former resident of Klamath Falls and a pilot of a 2008 helicopter that crashed and killed nine firefighters working in Northern California. A jury in Portland continues deliberations over whether an engine problem led to the crash. A lawsuit alleges General Electric knew about a design flaw. GE claims the helicopter was carrying too much weight when it went down.
