Man faces charges after police chase

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A Klamath Falls man is facing charges after a car chase Sunday morning. 43-year old Arren Broderick Jr. drove a Volkswagen through a field after an Oregon State police trooper tried to pull him over for speeding on Highway 97 about ten miles north of Klamath Falls. After returning to Highway 97, troopers say Broderick lost control and hit a barbed wire fence. He was arrested after a foot chase. Charges include unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempt to elude in a vehicle, attempt to elude on foot, reckless driving and possession of a theft device.
