Man acquitted of involuntary manslaughter

ALTURAS, Cal. – Craig Lafferty had been charged with shooting and killing 24-year-old Kevin Konz, of Cedarville, California last June in Lake City. But after a Modoc Superior Court jury deliberated for two and a half hours they concluded Lafferty was innocent of voluntary manslaughter. Konz had reportedly climbed more than 20 feet on a second floor balcony when he was shot.
