Federal guidelines to impact local forest

Forest in Boulder Creek Valley

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Obama Administration’s new guidelines for managing forest land across the country will provide blueprints, and should allow for more cohesive management of the Fremont-Winema National Forest. The two forests have been sharing an administration for a decade, but still have separate forest plans. The new federal plan aims to improve collaboration and reduce the time it takes to get approval for projects.
