WASHINGTON, D.C. – A dam removal decision has been delayed. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said yesterday the March deadline for deciding whether to remove four dams on the Klamath River in Oregon and California won’t be met. The dam removal plan aims to help salmon and coordinate water sharing fish and farms. Salazar says work will continue on the scientific studies, but authorization from Congress has stalled.
