KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Both the Klamath County school district and Klamath Falls City Schools are asking Klamath County for money to upgrade facilities. The funds would help make building improvements like fixing roofs and adding energy-efficient windows. The Klamath County School District requested $2 million and the Klamath Falls City Schools asked for $1 million. A decision from Commissioners isn’t expected quickly. The money would have to come from the road fund, and pending federal legislation could affect how much money is there to be dished out.
