City Schools may put levy before voters

Klamath Union High School

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Klamath Falls city school board will decide next week if it wants to put a levy before voters in May. It would be a three-year, $2.67 million local option levy that would update textbooks and re-hire several laid off teachers. If voters approved it, the three-year levy would include an additional annual payout of $150,000 from the state. A vote of city school board members will happen Monday, Feb. 13.
