Lawmakers get revenue projections Tuesday

oregon state capital

SALEM, Ore. – Oregon’s revenue projections will be released tomorrow, or in other words lawmakers will find out how much tax revenue the state thinks it will collect and therefore how much play is in the budget. Last time around, lawmakers were forced to look at layoffs and other cuts, and tomorrow’s numbers will show if that’s necessary again. Lawmakers will use the estimate to go about the business of balancing the budget this session.
