NAMPA, Idaho — Southern Oregon University introduces its indoor track and field teams this weekend at the Bronco Classic in Nampa, Idaho, with former Mazama graduate Mikayla Garrard set to compete in the 200- and 400-meters races.
Southern Oregon has a long history of success in track & field, with 13 team conference titles on the men’s side and four on the women’s side.
Last season, SOU was the runner-up in the Cascade Conference behind six-time defending champion Concordia.
Speaking of Broncos and Idaho, former Henley grad Stephanie North earned her third Mountain West conference swimmer of the week honor last week. Winning two individual events and joining two victorious relay teams, North helped Boise State to a senior day win over Colorado.
