SALEM, Ore. – Oregon lawmakers are back to work today and budget will be a big focus. Revenue shortfalls are thought to be around $300 million since the last budget was approved in June. New revenue projections February 8 will tell lawmakers exactly how much they have to work with, and then they’ll start deciding who faces cuts and who will be spared. Selective reductions could be around 3.5 percent.
