HS Preview: Skyline play resumes tonight

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Tonight’s high school basketball schedule has the Skyline Conference resuming its schedule, beginning the second half of the season.

960 the Sports Legend’s coverage begins after Oregon Tech women’s basketball around 7:00 PM, when Klamath Union hosts Henley. The Hornets (14-3; 5-0 Skyline) girls are atop the conference, while KU (12-5; 4-1) is one game out of first. For the boys, the Pelicans (8-9; 3-2) are 2-0 this season against Henley (6-12; 0-5), winning at the Dec. 2 Yreka tournament 50-41 and 46-44 in the league opener Jan. 6.

The Mazama doubleheader sees the Phoenix (8-8; 2-3) girls trying to get into a tie for third against Mazama (14-4; 3-2), while the Vikings boys (9-8; 2-3) at No. 5 Phoenix (14-3; 4-1) on the boys side.

No. 4 North Valley (16-2; 5-0) hosts Hidden Valley (5-13; 1-4) in the second half of its girls-boys doubleheader.  The girls game is first, with North Valley (4-14; 0-5) looking for its first conference win against the Mustangs (2-16; 1-4).
