OAKLAND, Calif. – Stephen Curry scored a season-high 32 points as Golden State beat Portland 101-93 Wednesday night in Oakland.
It was the Warriors first win over a Western Conference opponent this season and the 12th time it beat Portland at home in the last 13 tries.
David Lee added 26 points and Brandon Rush had 14 points. Golden State put in a season-high 11 three-pointers.
LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Portland, which fell to 11-8 this season and only 3-7 on the road.
The Warriors have not lost the season series to Portland since 2002-03.
Next, the Blazers return home Friday hosting the Phoenix Suns, which handed Portland its most lopsided loss of the season – a 102-77 defeat on Jan. 6. Game time is 7:00 PM.
