PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Trail Blazers weren’t the hot team coming into Tuesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Still, getting 23 points from LaMarcus Aldridge and a season-best 22 rebounds from Marcus Camby, Portland snapped the Grizzlies’ seven-game winning streak with a 97-84 win at the Rose Garden.
Portland had just finished a lackluster 2-4 road trip and returned home to beat Sacramento on Monday before the Memphis game. Jamal Crawford followed up his season-high scoring performance against the Kings with 15 versus the Grizzlies.
The Blazers are now 8-1 at home, traveling to Golden State Wednesday.
In addition to his great rebounding night, Camby also blocked a season-high five shots.
