SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Mariners have sent All-Star pitcher Michael Pineda to the New York Yankees, completing a four-player trade on Monday. Jesus Montero is the headline player coming back to Seattle in the exchange.

The whole deal includes 19-year-old pitching prospect Jose Campos to New York with 24-year-old pitcher Hector Noesi going to the Mariners.
Pineda made the All-Star team his rookie season, starting hot, but finishing slow, ending with a 9-10 record and a 3-74 ERA. He struck out 173.
