Los Angeles, CA – 39-year old Dean Paul Wright of Klamath Falls took part in buying dozens of handguns in Oregon and selling them illegally to gang members in Los Angeles. He’s been sentenced to a little more than two years in federal prison. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was tipped off to the scheme over a year ago after guns purchased by Wright and co-defendant Sergio Gutierrez started turning up at L.A. crime scenes.
