Jackson County, OR – If you drive up to Lost Creek Lake for recreation, some good news. For more than three months a blue-green algae advisory has been in place. That could be lifted soon, perhaps this week. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says if the latest lab samples show no unsafe levels of algae-related toxins, then the state-required weeklong waiting period would be over Wednesday. A public health advisory is still in effect at Gerber Reservoir in Klamath County, according to public-health records.
