Workshops to draw attention to Klamath County problems

Klamath Falls, OR-There’s a campaign to draw awareness to the fact that Oregon ranks No. 2 for Sexual Violence and Klamath County ranks No. 3 for Child Abuse and Neglect. There’s a free workshop coming up aimed at building awareness and education. Kim McArthur, Rape Prevention Education Coordinator at Marta’s House/Klamath Crisis Center, says on January 12 the workshop will cover stalking. Other workshops planned for 2012 include sexual assault and bystander intervention.
